Founder/CEO
Christopher Robinson, Founder and CEO, is the director of ESOP trustee services for Cornerstone Fiduciary Services. Christopher has practiced law and advised business owners in the areas of employee benefit plan administration and family business succession planning. He has over twenty years of experience at major law, accounting and financial service firms advising business owners and serving as an independent fiduciary to employee stock ownership plans throughout the United States. Christopher’s passion for employee ownership was sparked while working on his family’s farm and the King Ranch to self-support his college and post-graduate educational pursuits. He brings his strong work ethic, professional independence, and “farm boy” common sense to each of his engagements. Christopher graduated with honors from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a BBA in Finance and earned his law degree and MBA at Texas Tech University. In addition to service on various community boards, Christopher is a member of the ESOP Association, the National Center for Employee Ownership, and is a teaching leader at his family’s church. A father of seven, Christopher and his wife Taylor enjoy homesteading and training up the next generation of entrepreneurs in rugged West Texas.
The cornerstone is a foundational stone that provides a reliable and firm foundation leading to the cohesion and stability of the whole. A fiduciary, from Latin meaning “trust,” is a person who stands in a special relation of trust, confidence and responsibility in his or her obligation to another.
